A sizzling black Porsche car was totaled at the Children’s park near India gate early on Sunday morning. The two passengers travelling in the car have received injuries. It has been reported that the driver of the car lost control over the car as it crashed it the Children’s park. Both the passengers were allegedly heavily under the influence of Alcohol when the accident occurred.

The incident took place around 3.30am on Sunday. The two passengers in the car were identified as Angad Singh (23) and Sherry Singh (28), both from Faridabad, Haryana.

They were heading towards the Gurdwara Bangla Sahib at the time of the accident. Angad Singh the driver was arrested by the Delhi police on accounts of rash and drunk driving but later got released on bail. The spokesperson of the Delhi police said that the ill fated car is worth 1.5 crore.

He added “They were passing through Zakir Hussain Marg when Angad took a sudden turn and lost control of the vehicle. The car hit the boundary wall of Children’s Park before coming to a halt,”

He told the media that had it not been for the safety balloon bursting at the right time the car would have somersaulted on the road which would have resulted in a more serious accident.

He further added “The car was taken to Tilak Marg police station while its occupants were rushed to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital for treatment. They were discharged soon,”
