Rescue teams working on the factory explosion in Lahore successfully take out a woman, 50 years of age, from the rubble after 31 hours of dedicated efforts.

As per media information, rescue teams had to complete the search operation by tonight and start clearing up the rubble when they started hearing voices from under the rubble around noon. Rescue teams devoted all their resources and efforts to follow the voice leads and take out the survivors.

Today, around 4pm, a woman of about 50 years of age was rescued and taken to the hospital immediately after being fed food and water initially. The survivor is reported to be in a critical condition and therefore was taken to the hospital right away.

Rescue teams and other civilians helping the teams celebrate as their efforts paid off. Search teams have not made a statement about further steps to be taken as to till when the search operation will be conducted or if there are any other survivors still under the rubble.

The death toll for the incident has been reported to be 15 which include three men and 12 women.
