Body of missing man found, pleasure craft collision

The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) announced on Monday that the body of the missing person from the pleasure craft collision on Saturday has been discovered.

The authorities further informed that the dead body of the 34 year old, who has been recognized as Hadmizam Abdullah, has been discovered from around the Jurong River on Sunday at about 11 15 pm. The collision accident which took place at the Penjuru Terminal has claimed the death of two individuals with two more in hospital with injuries.

The dead body of the deceased and the other two individuals getting hurt were rescued a little after the incident. However, the owner of the pleasure craft, Adbullah, was missing and his dead body was not found until 24 hours later.

After the accident, several search attempts were made by the MPA, Police Coast Guards, and a boat chartered by the family members of Mr. Abdullah throughout Sunday. It is claimed that the dead body was discovered by the chartered boat of the family members. His family members informed that Abdullah was father of three kids and a fishing enthusiast. He had left with nine of his friends for fishing on Saturday when his boat collided.
