The Ottawa Police Service has one man in custody following a fatal stabbing this morning on Fisher Avenue.
At about 7:20 a.m. emergency services responded to a 911 call in relation to a 46 year old woman who was stabbed. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 56 year old man has been arrested.
The name of the victim is not being released, pending notification of next of kin.
