The Chatham-Kent Police continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding an adult human body found yesterday along the Thames River west of Chatham.
Investigators have confirmed that the gender is female.
The body has been removed from that location to be examined by a forensic pathologist.
No date has been set for that to occur.
