Ridge Meadows RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance in locating an automated banking machine that was stolen from the Ramada Inn, 19267 Lougheed Highway. The theft occurred at approximately 2:20 a.m. Thursday March 17, 2011 Two males walked into the lobby area of the hotel and managed to pick up the banking machine, which was not secured to the floor, and carry it out to a white pickup truck, which departed the hotel parking lot in an unknown direction.

The banking machine is estimated to weigh 300 pounds, and police suspect the thieves used a dolly, or a like moving device, to get the machine out to the parking lot.
