Houston police have learned the identity and cause of death of a female found at 600 Altic about 7:30 a.m. last Friday (March 18).
The victim is identified as Rachel Burrell, 44, of Houston. The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences has ruled her death a homicide.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeants W. Elsbury, K. McGray and Senior Police Officer T. Tyler reported:
Officers responded to a person down call at the above address and discovered Ms. Burrell deceased in a shallow ditch just off the roadway.
