High risk sex offender Donald James Sabey residing in Vancouver

The Vancouver Police Department believes that compelling circumstances exist requiring the Department to warn the public that Donald James Sabey will be residing in the City of Vancouver, and he poses a risk of significant harm to the safety of adult women, including intimate partners, strangers, and sex trade workers.

Sabey served all of a five-year sentence after being convicted of sexual assault, forcible confinement and uttering threats in 2006. He has been assessed as a high risk to re-offend generally, violently and sexually.

Sabey is 44 years old, white, 6’4” tall, 240 lbs. and is bald with blue eyes.

He must observe the following conditions:

abstain from the consumption of alcohol
report all relationships, sexual relationships, and intimate relationships to his parole officer
not to be found in the company of children under 18 years of age
avoid contact with sex trade workers

Anyone witnessing Sabey in violation of any of these conditions is asked to contact their local police department at 9-1-1.
