A man faces charges in connection with the murder of Brandon Hatcher.
On December 3, 2010 at 8:37 p.m., police responded to a call of an injured man in the 100 block of Lavender Walk. Upon arrival, officers located 20-year-old Brandon Hatcher who had been shot. He was transported to hospital where he was pronounced deceased a short time later.
Three people currently face charges in connection with the murder including a woman who was arrested last week and charged as an accessory after the fact. As a result of the on-going investigation by officers assigned to the HRP/RCMP Integrated Major Crime Unit, another person was arrested at 3:06 p.m. this afternoon without incident at Police Headquarters.
A 41-year-old Halifax man is scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court tomorrow to face charges of accessory after the fact, possession of a weapon, possession of an unauthorized weapon and breach of a weapon prohibition.
