Toronto woman drugged and sexually assaulted

The Toronto Police Service is alerting the public to an ongoing sexual assault investigation.

It is alleged that:

– on Friday, May 20, 2011, a woman was with a man in her apartment,

– he put a substance in her drink,

– while the woman was under the influence of the substance, the man sexually assaulted her,

– the man attempted to take money and other personal belongings from the woman.

On Wednesday, May 25, 2011, 43 Division officers arrested Fabrice Demodenga, 30, of Toronto.

He has been charged with:

1) Sexual Assault
2) Administer stupefying drug
3) Theft Under
4) Three counts of Fail to Comply Recognizance
5) Revocation of Bail (arrest without warrant).

He appeared in court at 1911 Eglinton Avenue East, on Thursday, May 26, 2011, at 12 p.m..

Police believe there may be other victims.
