Arrest made in the Homicide of Michael Milton Wilson, Washington DC

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Departments’ Homicide Branch announced that a second arrest has been made in the fatal shooting of 47 year-old Michael Milton Wilson.

On Sunday, August 22, 2010, at approximately 6:27 pm, units from the Seventh District responded tothe 4200 block of South Capitol Street, SE, for the report of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they located the victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Personnel from DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded and transported the victim to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead. A male juvenile was later arrested in connection with Mr. Wilson’s shooting death.

On Wednesday, June 1, 2011, at approximately 12:30 pm, 21 year-old Monquel Nathan Cook, who was already incarcerated on an unrelated charge, was arrested by detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch pursuant to an arrest warrant charging him with Felony Murder While Armed.
