Man Arrested in South End Incident

A man was arrested early this morning in the south end in relation to a complaint of a suspicious person in the area.

At 4:30 a.m., police responded to a call of a suspicious person in the 5200 block of Kent Street in Halifax. A witness reported seeing the man peering through a window watching a female resident. Upon arrival, officers located and arrested a man outside of the address in question.

A 37-year-old man is scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court on July 19 to face a charge of trespass by night. Investigators are reviewing other files in that area but at this time there is no information to link the man with any other incidents.
