Edmonton woman Cherish Felicia Jackson charged with aggravated assault

On Sunday, June 5, 2011 at approximately 4:15 p.m., a male and female, both 34-years-old and known to each other, were involved in an argument that escalated to a serious altercation at the parkade near Edmonton Transit Centre at 106 Street and 111 Avenue.

ETS Security approached the two and discovered the male was suffering from a serious injury. The female fled up the parkade stairs, was apprehended by ETS Security and arrested by downtown EPS patrol officers.

The 34-year-old male was taken to hospital where he underwent surgery. He is currently in serious condition.

Cherish Felicia Jackson has been charged with aggravated assault, possession of a weapon dangerous to the public, breach condition of release.
