Early this morning, at approximately 2:30 a.m., police received a call regarding a single motor vehicle crash at 2208 Old Mill Road in South Farmington, Annapolis County. The vehicle failed to negotiate a turn, left the road and hit a tree and a power pole. The sole occupant of the vehicle, a 22-year old male from Victoriavale, NS, was pronounced deceased at the scene. RCMP Annapolis Valley Traffic Services were called in to investigate. The scene has since been cleared.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation. The name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
