Peel Regional Police Homicide investigators are currently investigating an early morning altercation which left a 19 year-old Toronto resident dead. This is Peel Region’s tenth homicide of 2011.

On Monday, June 20, 2011, at approximately 2:00 a.m., officers responded to an address on Torbram Road for a report of a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers discovered a male suffering from obvious signs of trauma. In spite of the best efforts by paramedics, the victim succumbed to his injuries.

The victim has since been identified as Nitish KHANNA, a male resident of Toronto.

Investigators are currently looking for five males and a light-coloured four door vehicle.
