Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch have announced an arrest has been made in the homicide in the 700 block of Gresham Place, NW.On Saturday, June 25, 2011, at approximately 5:03 pm, units from the Third District responded to a call for the sounds of gunshots. Upon arrival, they located four victims, three in the 700 block of Gresham Place, NW and one in the 700 block of Columbia Road, NW. All four victims were transported by DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services personnel to local hospitals where one of the victims succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
The decedent has been identified as 43 year-old Robert Foster, Jr. of Northwest, Washington, DC.
On Sunday, June 26, 2011, members of the Homicide Branch arrested 19-year-old Terry Jiminez of Buffalo, NY. He was charged with Murder Two While Armed in connection with the homicide of Robert Foster, Jr.
