Members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Cumberland Detachment are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a 67 year-old Cumberland District resident.

David William Ross was last seen on Tuesday, July 19 at approximately midnight by staff from Four Seasons Manor, located in Oxford, Nova Scotia. When Mr. Ross did not show up for breakfast today, staff searched the area and then notified police at approximately 9:30 a.m.

Mr. Ross is described as a white male, 5’6", 215 pounds, balding and has a mole high on his left cheek. He was last seen wearing a grey and black zippered jacket and black jeans. Mr. Ross has health issues and requires medication.

A search is underway with RCMP members from Oxford, Parrsboro, Pugwash, RCMP Police Dog Service along with the Pugwash and Springhill Ground Search and Rescue.

UPDATE: Mr. Ross has been located.
