At approximately 9:20 p.m. on Thursday, July 28, police were called to an altercation at Mary Burlie Park around 97 Street and 105 Avenue. Two injured males were taken to hospital. One male succumbed to his injuries and the other was released from hospital and is not considered a suspect.
An autopsy was conducted today and the Edmonton Medical Examiner has determined the man died as a result of a stab wound.
The victim’s identity will not be released until next of kin has been identified.
