Owner of Toronto restaurant Aroma Restaurant, charged with sexual assault

On Thursday, July 14, 2011, the Toronto Police Service re-arrested a man in connection with a sexual assault investigation.

It is alleged that:

– the accused is the owner and operator of Aroma Restaurant, 1966 Queen Street East,

– since June 2011, the accused has placed a help wanted ad in the window of his restaurant,

– on Tuesday, June 14, 2011, a 15-year-old girl answered the ad,

– she was hired by the accused,

– she went to the restaurant for a training session and was sexually assaulted.

It is further alleged that:

– on Tuesday, July 12, 2011, a 21-year-old girl also answered the help wanted ad,

– she attended the restaurant on the following day for a training session and was sexually assaulted by the accused.

Jcyk Josefsberg, 43, also known as Steve, of Toronto, has been charged with:

1) two counts of Sexual Assault,
2) Sexual Interference,
3) Invitation to Sexual Touching.

Police believe there may be more victims.
