A Courtice man is facing multiple charges after officers seized over $220,000 in drugs and three guns from a property in Clarington.

On Thursday August 4, 2011 members of the DRPS Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) concluded an investigation into a suspected marihuana grow op on Trulls Road in Courtice. A CDSA search warrant was obtained and officers seized marihuana plants being grown indoors and outdoors. A man was located in the grow-op and arrested without incident.

Officers seized 169 marihuana plants, 4.9 kg of hash oil, approximately two pounds of dried marihuana, three firearms, ammunition and marihuana growing equipment. They also seized a pellet rifle and a pellet handgun. The value of the drugs seized is $227,000.

Bradly GERMAN, age 44, of Trulls Road in Courtice is charged with: Production of a Controlled Substance x2 and Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking x2 as well as several weapons charges. He was held for a bail hearing.
