The Calgary Police Service is currently investigating a home invasion robbery that occurred early this morning in Whitehorn.
At approximately 4:25 a.m., on Monday, Aug. 15, 2011, four men broke into a home on Whitaker Close N.E. The lone occupant of the home, a 67-year-old man, was assaulted and was subsequently transported to hospital for assessment and treatment. The victim is currently being treated for his injuries, which are believed to be non life-threatening.
The four suspects were masked at the time of the incident. The motive is currently unknown and the investigation is ongoing.
