On Saturday, August 20, 2011, at 12:31 a.m., police responded to a radio call for the sound of gunshots on Seeley Drive.
Police attended and found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound to the knee, and a second woman, the deceased, suffering from gunshot wounds in an apartment at 25 Seeley Drive.
On Tuesday, August 23, 2011, at 1:30 p.m., Jeremy Sirur-Yee, 23, surrendered to officers at 31 Division. He has been charged with:
1) Second Degree Murder,
2) Attempted Murder.
He is scheduled to appear in court at 1000 Finch Avenue West, on Wednesday, August 23, 2011, at 10 a.m.
