Toronto man arrested for luring girls into prostitution

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of the arrest of a High Risk Offender and are appealing to any victims to come forward.

It is alleged that:

– the accused has been actively trying to procure young woman to become sex workers.

On Tuesday, August 23, 2011, Mark Anthony Burton, 42, was arrested and charged with:

1) two counts of Procuring a person to become a prostitute
2) Living on the avails of prostitution
3) Exercise Control
4) Procuring Illicit Sex
5) Sexual Assault
6) two counts of Breach of recognizance
7) two counts of Theft under
8) two counts of Possession Property obtained by Crime
9) two counts of Fail to comply with probation

Investigators believe there may be more victims.
