On Thursday, August 25, 2011, an investigation by the London Police Service Cyber Crime Unit culminated in the arrest of an 18-year-old London man. The investigation had been ongoing since May of this year and involved the execution of a search warrant at a residence in the area of Pond Mills Road and Bradley Avenue.
Brad Walsh of London was charged with:
Five counts of possession of child pornography, contrary to section 163.1(4) of the Criminal Code of Canada
Four counts of making child pornography available, contrary to section 163.1(3) of the Criminal Code of Canada
One count of accessing child pornography, contrary to section 163.1(4.1) of the Criminal Code of Canada
