Pawlenty Supports Romney For President

The animosity between Tim Pawlenty and Mitt Romney seems to have finally subside. Tim Pawlenty is now actively supporting Mitt Romney in his presidential campaign. Romney, the former governor of Massachusetts will be competing against the current governor of Texas, Rick Perry.

The two enemies have now put their differences aside. However, earlier on Pawlenty criticised Romney over his health care reforms, which he criticized as being “Obamneycare”. Pawlenty has now criticized Perry over his social security scheme, terming it as a “Ponzi scheme”.

Pawlenty announced his support for his former foe, Romney in an email that said “Alone among the contenders, Romney possesses the unique qualifications to confront and master our severe economic predicament. His abiding faith in our country’s exceptional historical position as a beacon of freedom will make him the most important leader in a world that depends upon a strong America to stay at peace.”
