Turbulent weather contributed to injuries in two of the flights according to a statement issued by the officials on Sunday. The two flights landed in Boston. A flight of JetBlue Airways from Puerto Rico to Boston saw the injuries of seven of the passengers.A total of 20 people were hurt.
According to Boston’s Logan Airport spokesman Phil Orlandella, six of the passengers suffered back or neck injuries, while three of those refused medical attention, therefore four of them received medical attention. According to the airline’s website, the flight landed twenty minutes prior to its landing time.
On the second flight, Lufthansa flight from Charlotte, N.C., to Munich, Germany, eleven people were reported injured due to the dire turbulence. There were 245 passengers and 18 crew members on board.
