Six Moncton men arrested for prostitution related offences

On October 27, 2011, members of the Codiac Regional RCMP Street Crime Unit conducted a prostitution operation in the St. George Street and Dufferin Street areas of Moncton. Six men were arrested for committing prostitution-related offences. The men range in age from 32 to 68 years old. Four of the men are from Moncton, one from Irishtown, and one from Shediac.

The arrests are part of the Codiac Regional RCMP’s ongoing efforts to curb sex trade activities in the community. All six men were released on a promise to appear in Moncton Provincial Court on December 19, 2011. The investigation is ongoing.
