Hamilton police investigate two recent stabbing incidents

The Hamilton Police Service is seeking the assistance of the public in identifying a suspect(s) involved in two recent stabbing incidents.

On Thursday, November 10th, 2011 at approximately 7:40 p.m., Hamilton Police responded to the area of MacNab St. and Bold St. to investigate a stabbing that had just occurred.  

On arrival, police found a female victim suffering from multiple stab wounds to her upper body and head.  The victim related to police that she was walking south bound on MacNab St. South towards Bold St. when she observed a male suspect standing at the east corner of MacNab and Bold.  After walking past the suspect she was suddenly attacked from behind.  The suspect stabbed the victim multiple times before fleeing north bound on MacNab St towards Bold St. The victim was transported to hospital and treated for her injuries.

The suspect is described as:
Male, black, 30 years, approximately 6ft tall, muscular build, clean shaven wearing dark pants, a black hooded jacket with the hood pulled up over his head. 

On Monday 7th November 2011 at 10:45 pm a similar attack occurred on a male victim at Sanford Ave. South and King St East. In this attack the victim reported walking along the sidewalk on King St. when the suspect approached him from behind, the victim was stabbed several times in the back. 

The suspect in this incident is described as:
Male, Black, 6ft tall, wearing a 3/4 length dark jacket and a hooded sweatshirt underneath with the hood up.
