On Thursday the 10th of November, 2011, the Internet Child Exploitation Unit arrested a male in a public area in the east end of Ottawa. The accused believed he was communicating on-line with a fourteen (14) year old victim. The accused exposed himself on webcam and was arrested when he attempted to meet the victim for a sexual purpose.
Yves Charlebois, 45 years old is charged with two (2) counts of child luring involving exposure to a minor and invitation to sexual touching.
On the 11th of November 2011, the Internet Child Exploitation Unit executed a search warrant resulting in the seizure of four computers and a large quantity of analog and digital media.
The accused appeared in court on November 11, 2011 and was remanded into custody.
