Members of the District 11 RCMP are investigating a fatal single-vehicle collision that occurred on the Havelock Road in Petitcodiac, N.B., on December 22, 2011.
An 18-year-old woman from Petitcodiac passed away at the scene as a result of injuries she sustained in the crash.
It’s believed the woman lost control of her vehicle, which left the road and struck a tree. Police say roads were slippery at the time of the collision.
The woman’s name has not been released pending notification of her family.
The investigation is continuing.
