At approximately 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 22, 2011, a GMC Sierra struck a female pedestrian in the area of 124 Street and 132 Avenue.
The 59-year-old pedestrian was pronounced dead on scene by EMS.
Alcohol and speed do not appear to be factors. Charges are pending against the 26-year old driver of the Sierra as the investigation continues.
The woman was not in a marked cross walk when the she was struck.
