Police were called to the area of Jasper Avenue and 83 Street at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Dec. 31, 2011. A deceased woman’s body was found in an apartment at the above address. A male was taken into custody.
The Edmonton Medical Examiner completed the autopsy today on the woman found deceased in a downtown apartment on Dec. 31, 2011.
It has been determined that Misty Lynn Ward, 27, died from a stab wound.
Joshua James Houle, 27, has been charged with second degree murder, indignity to a human body and breach of recognizance (x2).
The victim and accused knew each other.
