Arrest Made in Single Motorcycle Collision that Claims the Life of a Mississauga Teen

Investigators from the Major Collision Bureau have made an arrest in relation to a fatal motorcycle collision.

On Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at approximately 6:29 p.m., the victim, a 19 year-old Mississauga man, was operating a 2000 Honda CBR 600 motorcycle at a high rate of speed on Mississauga Road. At some point the motorcycle ended up travelling in the oncoming lanes and violently struck a Mississauga transit bus.

The 19 year-old rider has been identified as Kyle SAYANI, a resident of Mississauga. The victim sustained life threatening injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators with the Major Collision Bureau have arrested and interviewed the rider of the green motorcycle that was involved in the collision.

21 year-old Paolo BLANCO of Brampton is facing charges of Fail to Remain Causing Death and Criminal Negligence Causing Death. He will make his first court appearance on April 27, 2012 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
