District 3 RCMP is investigating a fatal motor vehicle collision that occurred around 12:30 p.m. on May 31, 2012, on Highway 7 near Petersville Hill.
The victim, a 44-year-old man from Oromocto, N.B passed away at the scene as a result of his injuries. The collision occurred when the victim’s vehicle heading northbound crossed the centre line and struck a three quarter ton truck heading southbound. The driver of the truck sustained minor injuries.
The name of the deceased is not being released at the request of the family.
The investigation is ongoing.
