Kings District RCMP are investigating a sudden death.
On June 18th, 2012, Kings District RCMP responded to a medical emergency at a residence in Greenwood where they found a 20-year-old female from Greenwood unconscious and experiencing medical distress. She was transported by EHS to the Valley Regional Hospital in Kentville where she was placed on life support. She died in hospital yesterday afternoon.
Kings District RCMP is investigating to determine the cause of death. The Medical Examiner’s Office has scheduled an autopsy to take place today.
The name of the victim is not being released. The police investigation is ongoing.
