Missing Dartmouth driver found dead in Hubbards

RCMP have located a missing diver in Hubbards, Nova Scotia.

Today, at 12:47 p.m., RCMP received a call of a missing diver near Birchy Head, Hubbards, NS. The 36-year-old man, from Dartmouth, had been scuba diving in the water with a group of people when he became separated from the group. When the group arrived ashore, they could not locate their fellow diver and called 911.

The Canadian Coast Guard assisted in the search for the missing man. At 2:30 p.m., the Coast Guard vessel located the man deceased along the shore.

The RCMP and the Medical Examiner’s Office continue to investigate.
