Sexual Assault in the Jane Street/Wilson Avenue area of Toronto

The Toronto Police Service is alerting the public to a sexual assault investigation.

It is reported that:

– on Monday, April 12, 2010, at approximately 9 p.m., a 18-year-old woman got off a TTC bus in the Jane Street/Wilson Avenue area,

– the woman was approached from behind, while walking, and grabbed by a man,

– the woman was sexually assaulted, but was able to kick the suspect and get away.

The suspect is described as black, heavy build, in his 20s and approximately 5”7”. He was wearing black sweatpants and a black hoodie.
