On April 17, 2010 shortly after 7:30 pm, the Sackville RCMP were dispatched to Highway 16 in Jolicure, NB were a single motor vehicle had driven off the road into the woods.

The driver, Stephen David Turner, a 27 year old man from Cornwall, Prince Edward Island was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. The passenger in the vehicle was not injured.

At this time it is believed that Mr. Turner died of natural causes. An autopsy is scheduled to be performed Monday afternoon in order to determine the cause of death. The investigation is ongoing however foul play is not suspected.

  1. Stephen was a friend of mine that I worked with in Alberta. He was truly one of the most caring, generous and GOOD people I have ever had the pleasure to meet. I know he will be looking over us. Peace be with you Stephen.
