16-year-old boy charged with sexual assault in Toronto

On Friday, April 2, 2010, at midnight, police responded to a call for a sexual assault in the University Avenue/King Street West area.

It was alleged that:

– a 16-year-old girl was taken to a University Avenue/King Street West area condominium by a man,

– the man sexually assaulted the girl in the storage room of the building,

– the man fled the scene.

On Wednesday, May 5, 2010, a 16-year-old boy was arrested and charged with:

1) Sexual Assault
2) Robbery

The name of the accused cannot be released under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

He was scheduled to appear in court at 311 Jarvis Street, on Wednesday, May 5, 2010, room 311-1, at 9 a.m.
