On Friday, May 7, 2010, a man was arrested in a sexual assault investigation.
It is alleged that:
– in April 2009, a 12-year-old male student was sexually assaulted by the accused at Carlton Village Public School, 315 Osler Street.
Jonathan Summerhayes, 47, of Toronto, has been charged with:
1) Sexual Assault
2) Sexual Exploitation
3) Sexual Interference
4) Invitation to Sexual Touching
5) Forcible Confinement
The accused has been a swim coach with the Toronto District School Board since 1995.
He is currently a swim coach at Allenby Junior Public School.`
He is scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall, on Saturday, May 8, 2010, room 101, at 10 a.m.
Police believe there may be other victims.
