The Ottawa Police Service Sexual Assault & Child Abuse Section has charged an 18 year old Ottawa man with several sexual assault offences.
In the early hours of Saturday, December 1st, 2012, the Ottawa Police Service responded to cries for help in the area of Windways Cr. in the West end of the city. Officers attended the area and located an 18 yr old female that had been a victim of a violent sexual assault. Officers were led to a residence in the vicinity where the accused was located and surrendered to police.
The investigation revealed that the accused had also sexually assaulted a 17yr old female earlier in the evening. Both victims did not know the accused and had only met him that night.
Abdiaziz Yusef Ali, 18yrs, of Ottawa has been charged with Sexual Assault, Sexual Assault Causing Bodily Harm, two counts of Forcible Confinement, three counts of Breach of Probation Order and Utter a Death Threat.
He appeared in court on Sunday December 2nd and was remanded into custody until his next court appearance on December 6th 2012.
