Newly released information confirms that Fleetwood Mac is indeed returning to Vancouver. Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees Fleetwood Mac will be performing in Vancouver for Rogers Place on May 19. Sale of the tickets starts on the same date as the release of their landmark album Rumours, celebrating its 35th anniversary, on Dec. 14 at livenation.com.

The tour overall encompasses 34 destinations, covering the entire North American region, beginning from 4th of April in Columbus, Ohio. The band has announced to perform two of their newest unreleased songs, and fans are hoping this could turn into a full new album at some point later. Stevie Nicks recently sang on tracks that Lindsey Buckingham, Mick Fleetwood and John McVie worked on, calling the sessions “great.” Though, Nicks allege that she’s not sure if the band shall be stepping in again into the music industry of today. She stated that “whether or not we’re gonna do any more (songs), we don’t know because we’re so completely bummed out with the state of the music industry and the fact that nobody even wants a full record.” She added that “everybody wants two songs, so we’re going to give them two songs.”

Nicks is going to make her decision after considering the response of their recent two new tracks, which Buckingham calls “the most Fleetwood Mac-y stuff … in a long time,” and then decide if more material could come next. Buckingham shared that “maybe we’ll get an EP out of it or something.”
