Toronto police search for missing mother Nina Grebenschikov and daughter Jasmine Olleik

The Toronto Police Service is requesting, on behalf of the Ottawa Police Service, the public’s assistance locating a mother and daughter.

Nina Grebenschikov, 42, and her daughter Jasmine Olleik, 9, were last seen on November 28, 2012, at 3 p.m., walking with a women and getting into a blue four-door sedan in the 1500 block of Blohm Drive in Ottawa. 

Jasmine Olleik, 9, is described as white, 5’1’, slim build, with short dark brown hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a pink winter jacket and pink/brown boots. 

Nina Grebenschikov, 42, is described as white, 5’7″, 125 lbs., with auburn hair and hazel eyes. She may have recently dyed her hair blonde.

Update: The Ottawa Police Service wishes to advise that 9-year-old Jasmine Olleik of Ottawa was located safe and sound in North York, last evening, following a two week long investigation. 

Ottawa Police, with the assistance of Durham Regional Police, found the girl in the presence of her mother. Jasmine is in the process of being returned to her father in Ottawa, who has full custody. 

As a result of the investigation, charges are pending against Nina Grebenschikov. She is expected to appear in court today.
