A 23 year-old Regina male has been charged with Second-Degree Murder in connection with the death of 30 year-old Tara Fawn Chartrand of Regina, whose body was found on December 14, 2012, in a house in the 1100 block of Cameron Street.

As a result of the investigation into Chartrand’s death, a 23 year-old Regina male was arrested without incident and charged last night, Thursday, December 20, 2012. The family of Tara Chartrand has been advised of this development.

Twenty-three year-old Northbear Buddy Carrier, DOB: 1989-09-03, of Regina is charged with Second Degree Murder, contrary to section 235(1) of the Criminal Code of Canada. Carrier will make his first appearance on the charge in Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. today, Friday, December 21, 2012.
