The Calgary Police Service continues to seek public assistance in its search for a missing Calgary woman.
Sandra Mykytiuk-Evans, 56, was last seen at her family home in the community of Strathcona in southwest Calgary on Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, around 6 p.m.
Because she liked to go for walks in Edworthy Park in the past, police and Calgary Search and Rescue volunteers searched that area on Monday, Dec. 31, 2012. That search proved negative.
There is currently no information to lead to the search of other areas, however, officers continue to look for Mykytiuk-Evans, while following up on any lead from the public.
