The P.E.I. rescue team will recommence their search mission to hunt for a missing Kinkora man on Thursday morning. RCMP states that thirty-two-year-old Justin Brad Hunter was last seen around 1 a.m. on Wednesday, when his friends left him at his house after a night out together. The car of Mr. Hunter, i.e. grey Mazda 6 2007-model, was later found around 3 p.m. on Wednesday by a trucker who was driving on the Route 225, around 1.5 kilometers west of Kinkora.

The vehicle showed the scene of a vicious car accident, since it sunk upside down on its roof into an embankment. The scene shows footprints of the driver getting out of the car and circling around it. It was announced by the RCMP Sgt., Andrew Blackadar, that the search teams, equipped with dogs, were put into action right after the discovery. He added that “we know that there were some footprints, what appears to be footprints going up towards the highway.” Blackadar explained that “Mr. Hunter may have been picked up by a friend, a passerby. He may be in somebody’s house right now. We’d just like to locate him at this point.”

The RCMP is specifically eager to locate Hunter as soon as possible because of the freezing cold temperatures,. The search mission was suspended around midnight on Wednesday, with preparations of launching a full ground search the day after on Thursday morning at about 9 a.m. Police has already cross-checked with all his friends and local hospitals. Hunter is described as 5’8″ tall, 190 pounds with short brown hair and blue eyes.
