Charges have been filed against a suspect wanted in the fatal stabbing of a man at 7514 South Gessner at 10:15 p.m. on Monday (May 31).
Jose Domingo Sanchez, (H/m, DOB: 3-30-80) has been charged with murder in the 248th State District Court. Sanchez is still at large.   He is accused in the death of Cesar Hernandez, of the above address.  Hernandez suffered multiple stab wounds and was transported to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital where he was pronounced dead.  A photo of Sanchez is included with this news release.
 
Suspect Sanchez
HPD Homicide Division Sergeants J. De La Cruz and C. Howard reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a report of an assault.  When they arrived they found Mr. Hernandez in the apartment complex parking lot.  The suspect had fled the scene.
Further investigation led to the identification of the suspect as Sanchez and he was charged.  Sanchez has not yet been arrested
