On Friday, March 26, 2010, the Toronto Police Service issued a news release regarding a prowler in an area bounded by Davenport Road to the north, Dundas Street to the south, Beverley Street to the east, and Spadina Avenue to the west.

It is alleged that:

– between Tuesday, March 9, 2010 and Wednesday, June 9, 2010, during the early-morning hours, a man gained access to 17 student residences,

– the man engaged the women in a sexual conversation,

– the man then fled the scene.

The majority of the victims were young Asian women.

It is further alleged that:

– on Tuesday, June 9, 2010, at 3 a.m., a man broke into a home and confronted a woman,

– the man feld the home but was followed by a citizen who called police,

– 52 Division officers, along with members of TPS Dog Services, arrested the man in the area.

Jeffrey Fraser, 43, of Toronto, has been charged with:

1) 13 counts of Break and Enter with Intent,
2) two counts of Attempt Break and Enter with Intent,
3) Fail to Comply Recognizance,
4) Prowl by Night.

Police believe there may be other victims.
