The District 10 RCMP are investigating a fatal motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle and a pick up truck which happened on Route 120 in Lac Baker, NB late in the afternoon on June 9, 2010.

A 59-year-old man from Lac Baker died at the scene of the collision after the truck rolled out of a private driveway and crossed the highway striking the motorcycle. The driver of the truck had left vehicle believing it had been safely parked.

The vehicle will undergo a mechanical inspection. The investigation is ongoing.
