Vancouver Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 59 year old man who suffers from Alzheimer’s.
William John Newlands was last seen on Monday, April 8th, at 7:00 in the evening, when he left his family home in the 800 block of West 7th Avenue. He may appear confused or disoriented. Family and police are concerned for William’s safety as he has not taken his medication.
William is white, 5’10″ tall and has a medium build, with brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue running jacket over a beige sweater, blue jeans and running shoes. William is also wearing a medical alert bracelet with his name on it.
William has gone missing before and was found in the area of West Broadway and Granville Street.
